Processing Metal CNC Punching on demand at HHT Metals
How does a CNC Punching Machine work?
Computer Numerical Control CNC punching is a sheet metal manufacturing process performed by a CNC punching machine. Basically, the CNC punching machine is programmed to move the sheet metal in the X and Y axis directions to precisely position the sheet metal under the punch bar of the machine, ready to punch according to the designed profile.
Machine performance
The machining range for CNC punching machines is from 0.5mm to 6.0mm thick in a variety of materials such as steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum sheet, copper... . The choice of punch holes can be as simple as round, rectangular, pentagonal, hexagonal, oval… to special shapes to suit a particular design. The machine can also punch 3D shapes such as dents, slits, etc. on either side of the plate, commonly used in sheet metal case design.
